Software engineering offers an amazing career with so many different areas of expertise within the field. The median annual salary for a software engineer is $105,590 and job growth is expected to be very high. It's important to note that many employers are becoming less concerned if you have a college education or not but are more focused on your actual experience working with these software technologies. Teach yourself!

2. Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Machine Learning Engineer

If you look at how the world has changed in the past ten years technologically wise, it's astounding. A topic that has always been somewhat debated and worrisome is that of Artificial Intelligence. However, if you love the idea of robots and AI this is a perfect career opportunity. The average base salary is $146,085 and this field is expected to grow over 300%! Machine Learning Engineers are very high in demand and these gigs are some of the most sought out tech jobs.

3. Web Developers

The internet is such a big part of our daily lives and the world will always need Web Developers to make these websites function properly. Almost every website and APP that you use will have some kind of web developer that was involved in the process. The median annual salary for a Web Developer for 2019 is $78,665 and this field is also expected to keep growing! If you google the highest job satisfaction rating, you are sure to see web developers on the list!

4. Python Developer  

For my tech-savvy friends reading this, you will absolutely have heard of Python. This type of software has become extremely popular and is becoming a very sought after skills and valuable to understand and have worked within this program. If you're interested in Python, you will be creating and testing codes for software systems and apps. This is a great opportunity and has an average salary of $85,570K.
